Purchase Ledger Clerk

Responsibilities will include:

  • Purchase Orders – control of the purchase order system, including ensuring all purchase invoices are authorised in a timely manner
  • Purchase Ledger – overall control of the purchase ledgers, invoice/credit posting, reconciliations, dealing with statements, dealing with supplier queries
  • Preparation of weekly payments schedules
  • Credit cards – coding and posting of expenditure
  • Expenses – coding and posting of expenditure


  • Accuracy – must have the ability to work accurately
  • Previous purchase ledger experience
  • Sage 50 experience – desirable
