We are currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established company based in Nelson. They are looking to recruit an experienced Account Manager with a wide range of Customer Service experience.
About the job
- As an office-based Account Manager, you will be responsible for upgrading their customer base by winning new clients as well as maintaining a good relationship with their customers.
- Business to Business sales only (B2B)
- You will report directly to the Sales Supervisor and work within a small dedicated team.
- Responsible for achieving sales targets and growth
- Generating new customers within a targeted area
- Extend and manage customer relationships
- Carrying out any other ad hoc duties within your capabilities that are reasonably requested of you.
- Sales experience desirable (not essential)
- Excellent communication skills and ability to build relationships with potential clients
- Strives to exceed customers’ expectations
- Demonstrates a high level of care and attention to detail
- Takes a wider interest in the companies’ goals and challenges.
- Demonstrates sound judgement when making decisions
- Recommends solutions rather than just raising problems.
Package & hours
- Competitive basic salary plus commission and bonus scheme

- Hours – Monday – Friday 8.30am – 5.30pm
